Attention All Runners!!
Through a new partnership with East Highlands Ranch HOA our Running Club will now be using the track located next door at Ranch Meadows.
Space is limited so students will be placed in the club on a first come, first serve basis. Students must have completed the online Safe Routes to School application and returned the new permission slip to be placed on the Running Club roster. Students will receive their colored scan card if all their paperwork is turned in and need to bring each day to running club.
Thank you EHR and Good Luck to all our runners!!
1. Register your student through the Safe Routes website at http://arroyoverde.active4.me/. Several parents have already used the website, and the registration is very easy to complete.
2. At the end of the registration, simply print out the confirmation with your student's name, Safe Routes bar code and return to the classroom teacher.
3. The classroom teacher will be giving all the forms directly to PTA.
4. The scanning machine provided by the City and Safe Routes has arrived! Each Friday once the "walk to school" is complete, the student should report to the PTA room to check in. Bar code tags that can be attached to backpacks will be given to each registered student.
Students do not have to walk from Apple Tree. They can walk from any location although we ask that it be further than the parking lot. Since we have spent so much time this year focusing on our character traits, we know that our students' TRUSTWORTHINESS will shine through.
