General Information

SOLO tryouts will continue on Monday the 26th during lunch playtime. Families can message Mrs. Emery on ParentSquare if there are any questions.

3rd - 5th grade students may participate in choir. The following dates are practices for our spring set of songs. Since choir is a group-based activity, attendance is very important. Students must attend practices in order to perform!

Please plan outside commitments and appointments accordingly. If students miss more than 3 practices, they may be dropped for this round of practices and the performance.

If a student is unable to attend practice, we need parents send a message through PARENTSQUARE and let us know. NOTE: If students do not attend school on any given day, they are not to attend any choir events that are scheduled later that day. This includes performances.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS: (subject to change)

Practices are Tuesdays after school until 3:00

April 11 – perform at Citrus Valley with other choirs –6:30PM. Arrive no later than 6:10 to get choir shirt and do some quick warm ups! The choir will sit together and will attend the entire concert along with the other schools. Please plan to wear blue or black jeans. No special headbands or jewelry please. We want to be a uniform choir. THIS WILL BE OUR ONLY EVENING PERFORMANCE WITH OUR SPRING SONGS! THERE WILL NOT BE A PERFORMANCE AT ARROYO VERDE. Please contact Ms. Emery on PARENTSQUARE if you have questions!

April – spring performance for families and friends to attend & we will sing at school assemblies

May – Choir talent show if we have enough interest and participation. All songs and lyrics must be approved by the choir director and school admin. We have done this in the past and had a blast. Hoping to pull it off again this year!
